4th of July Nail Art Blog Switch with Polished Pathology!

4th of July Nail Art Blog Switch with Mindfully Polished - Press Samples/Purchased by Me

I'm so excited to be doing a blog switch with Jenne from Polished Pathology! Read below to see her amazing 4th of July mani, then jump over to her blog to see what I created!

Hey guys, Jenne here! Today I am switching with Megan from Mindfully Polished. I've been watching her swatching style grow over the past couple months and have been really impressed. Also, WE HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY! When I found that out, I asked if she wanted to do a blog switch with nail art that celebrated our birthday. She said yes! I can't wait to show you what I did, so let's get to the polishes!

4th
sup
  1. Sinful Colors GoGo Girl
  2. Sinful Colors Endless Blue
  3. Color Club Just My Luck
  4. Salon Perfect Sugar Cube
  5. Chaos & Crocodiles Black Ops
  6. Zeva Triple Strength Nail Guard
  7. Glisten & Glow HK Girl
  8. Vibrant Vinyls Liquid Latex
  9. Vibrant Vinyls 4th of July Sampler Pack
  10. Vibrant Vinyls Skinny Rays stencil

step-1 Do your watermarble! I did a marble of Sinful Colors GoGo Girl, Color Club Just My Luck, and Sinful Colors Endless Blue. I'm including a video tutorial at the end :) I realize this isn't truly a good 'step 1' but it's my birthday. I can do what I want. Fourth of July Nail Art

life Fourth of July Nail Art Add the vinyls! I used the 4th of July Sampler pack and the Skinny Rays stencil from Vibrant Vinyls. If you have a leg or two of the stars off your nail and onto the ski, the stars are easy to remove and you won't damage the design underneath. I was going for a firework look for my middle fingers. Paint over with your choice of color (I used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube and Chaos & Crocodiles Black Ops). For some, it might be easier to sponge the color on top, which helps with flooding. I didn't have any issues with the colors I chose.

3 Fourth of July Nail Art Remove the vinyls, top coat, and you're done! I used tweezers to help with removal, and that made things pretty easy. I LOVE how they turned out, what do you guys think? Fourth of July Nail Art

As promised, here is my YouTube video tutorial! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your blog today, Megan! What do you guys think of our Fourth of July Nail Art?   -- Jenne Rempel Polished Pathology http://www.polishedpathology.com

AMAZING, isn't she?? Thank you so much for asking me to switch with you, Jenne!

Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you next time!
