Ever After Polish Burning Twilight: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by Me*

Happy Valentine's Day!! Or, Happy Single's Awareness Day....whichever you celebrate ;)

For you today, I have another customer-made custom turned publicly available polish from Ever After! This polish was requested by Traci of Newsie Nail Novice (you can check out her blog right here!), and she named it Burning Twilight.

Burning Twilight is a dusty purple base, and it is packed with scattered holographic shimmer and copper/red flakies.

I was able to get this fully opaque in two buttery coats; however, it was almost opaque in one! The opacity that you obtain will most likely depend on the length of your nails, and how thickly you apply it. Shown are two coats, plus one layer of NYC Grand Central Station.

I also decided to see how Burning Twilight looked with matte topcoat. Because, well...#MatteAllTheFlakies ! My favorite matte topcoat is Essie's Matte About You; I used one layer here, over two coats of Burning Twilight. I just love the look of matted flakies!

Which way do you like your flakie polishes-- glossy or matte? I love them both ways! Burning Twilight is still available in Ever After's shop, and it costs $11.00, plus shipping. If interested, you can find it right here!
