Cupcake Polish Facebook Group Customs: Swatch and Review

Cupcake Polish Facebook Group Customs: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by me*

Happy humpday!! I've decided to simmer down a bit on my polishing/swatching, and will probably be doing my nails 2 times per week, 3 max, instead of everyday; so, my posts will be a little more spaced out than usual. I will try to make them consistently spaced, though!

Today, I'm sharing a duo of Cupcake Polishes that Sara created as group customs for the Facebook Fan Group, Cupcake Polish Lovers. For these customs, inspiration pictures were submitted and voted on, and the winning pictures were used as the basis for these polishes. They are absolutely stunning; let's take a look!

Cupcake Polish Supersonique

Collection: Cupcake Polish Lovers Group Custom
Color/Finish: Described by the maker as a deep purple color with turquoise and pink shimmers and a tiny bit of purple holo microglitter.
Formula/Application: Supersonique was an absolute dream to apply, just like all of the other Cupcakes that I own! It was smooth and creamy, with about a 2 minute dry time between coats. I used two medium coats for full opacity, and it dried semi-glossy. Shown is with two layers of glossy top coat; application of top coat deepened the color a bit, and intensified the holo. Pictures were taken under a daylight bulb.
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 hearts! Seriously...the color, the formula, the holo, EVERYTHING about Supersonique is amazing! I wore this for 2 and a half days, and only had minimal tip wear.
Availability: While Supersonique is no longer available for purchase, you may be able to join the Cupcake Polish Lovers Facebook group and put out an ISO for it!

Cupcake Polish #skwad

Collection: Cupcake Polish Lovers Group Custom
Color/Finish: Described by the maker as a deep fuchsia shade with gold shimmer that barely peeks through.
Formula/Application: #skwad was also an absolute dream to apply! It was smooth and creamy, and pretty much opaque in one coat! However, I did use two, to deepen the color a bit, and to obtain full opacity. #skwad dried down VERY quickly, but not so quick that it caused application issues; it was about a 45 second to 1 minute dry time between coats, and it dried matte. Shown is with one layer of glossy top coat; application of top coat deepened the color a bit, and intensified the holo. Pictures were taken under a daylight bulb.
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 hearts! YES. So much yes. This color is even more intense in person, and I can't wait to see it in the sunlight!
Availability: While #skwad is no longer available for purchase, you may be able to join the Cupcake Polish Lovers Facebook group and put out an ISO for it!
