I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Cutie Pop: Swatch and Review

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Cutie Pop: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by Me*

Welcome to the weekend!! Today, I am sharing an ILNP with you that I have had in my untrieds for a little while. This is Cutie Pop!

Collection: Spring 2014 Collection
Color/Finish: Rosy pink linear holographic with a tinge of gold.
Formula/Application: ILNP Cutie Pop was smooth and not too thick or thin. I was able to get it opaque in two coats, and dry time between coats was about 1-2 minutes. It dries glossy, but I added one layer of glossy top coat for some added shine. My pictures were taken under a daylight bulb!
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 hearts! The golden shimmer really brings this pretty pink to the next level, and the holo is strong, yet subtle enough to not gray-out the base color. Add this to a perfect formula, and you are set!
Availability: ILNP Cutie Pop is currently available on ILNP's website for $10.00 for a full size (12 mL) bottle. You can find the listing for it right here!

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Ski Lodge: Swatch and Review

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Ski Lodge: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by me*

Today, I'm excited to share another color from I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) with you; it is named Ski Lodge! I picked up Ski Lodge in the same haul as the other ILNPs that I have been showing you lately. Ready??

Collection: Winter 2015
Color/Finish: Mossy green linear holo with gold micro flakes
Formula/Application: On par with every ILNP that I have tried, Ski Lodge applied smoothly and evenly! The first coat was a tad thin, but I got it fully opaque in three thin coats. It dried glossy, but my swatches are shown with one layer of glossy top coat, under a daylight bulb.
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 stars! This shade of green is super unique to my collection, and the gold micro flakes combined with the linear holo really add that special flair.
Availability: Ski Lodge is currently available on ILNP's website; it costs $10.00 for a 12 mL bottle; you can find the listing for it right here

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Honor Roll: Swatch and Review

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Honor Roll: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by me*

Happy Thursday, AKA almost Fridayyy!!! I told you a bit ago that I was going to have a bunch of colors from I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) to show you, and I'm starting up on that promise today, with another stunner! The color that I'm sharing with you today is called Honor Roll. Honor Roll is from ILNP's Summer 2015 collection, and it is described as "a luscious navy blue polish packed with tons of holographic goodness." It is a part of their Ultra Holo line, which is a line of holos that includes both linear and scattered holo properties; and let me tell you, this baby is IN. YOUR. FACE. HOLO.

Just look at those scattered holo particles! Ah, I die!

The formula on ILNP Honor Roll was as amazing as I had expected: Smooth, buttery, even, and self-leveling! Because of the holographic elements, I like to do thinner coats, so that you can see all of the sparkle shine through all of the layers. As a result, I used three thin coats of Honor Roll for full opacity. Dry time between coats was wonderful, and was between 1-2 minutes.Honor Roll dried glossy, but I added top coat for some extra shine. Shown in my swatches are three thin layers of Honor Roll, plus one layer of glossy top coat; pictures were taken under a daylight bulb.

Honor Roll is available on ILNP's website for $10.00 for a full size (15 mL) bottle, and you can find the listing for it right here. You can also find ILNP on Amazon, for the same price as on their website!

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Maiden Lane: Swatch and Review

I Love Nail Polish Maiden Lane: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by me*

Happy Monday! Before I start talking about my polish for the day, I just want to take a moment to remind you that it is Memorial Day, a day to set aside to remember all of the fallen soldiers who have fought and sacrificed themselves for our freedom. They are all such brave souls, and their lives will always be cherished ♥

Today, I am sharing a color from I Love Nail Polish, better known as ILNP; this color is named Maiden Lane. Maiden Lane is a charcoal gray linear holo with blue undertones. Like all of the ILNPs that I own, the holo on this is out of this world!

The formula on Maiden Lane was a dream to work with, as I ave come to love from ILNP polishes. The first coat was a bit thin, but it built up nicely, and I used three thin coats for full opacity. Dry time was about 1-2 minutes between coats, and it dried semi-glossy. Shown in my pictures are three coats plus glossy top coat, under a daylight bulb.

Just look at that holo! If Maiden Lane looks like a polish that you would be interested in, you can pick it up on ILNP's website for $10.00 for a full-size bottle, right here. ILNP is also available on Amazon, for the same price; you can find the listing for Maiden Lane right here

I recently had a good-sized haul from ILNP, so look forward to some more swatches and reviews in the near future!

ILNP Molly: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by Me*

Happy Friday! I'm glad it's the weekend, and I'm actually kind of happy that the weather around me isn't going to be too great for the next couple of days...it gives me an excuse to stay inside and catch up on my sleep! And swatching, of course :P

Today, I want to show you a color from I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) that I picked up in a destash. This beauty is named Molly. Molly was one of the colors that has been discontinued by ILNP, which I believe is rare for Barbra (the owner of ILNP) to do. I'm not sure what the exact reason was for it being discontinued, but it was! However, I have seen several bottles floating around in destashes, so if you love it, you can go on the hunt!

ILNP Molly is described as "a beautiful deep cranberry / magenta colored holographic polish with added sparkle and an incredibly rich and wet appearing finish." She is definitely more on the magenta side; when I think of cranberry, I tend to think of a more red-toned color...Molly is more on the pink/purple spectrum. The holo is one that I have come to love from ILNP, and it is visible in almost every type of light!

The formula on Molly was smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was average, and it dried a bit dull. However, after applying topcoat, she came to life! Shown in my swatch are two coats for full opacity, plus glossy topcoat.

I absolutely adore magenta polishes, and this one is no exception! Again, ILNP Molly is not currently available in their shop, but you may be able to find it in sale groups.

ILNP XO: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by Me*

Hey there! Today, I have a polish from an indie/boutique brand that is quickly becoming one of my favorites: ILNP (I Love Nail Polish). The color that I have for you today is XO.

XO is a purple base packed with platinum silver flakies and holographic glitter. If I had to dream up the perfect purple polish, this would probably be it! The formula on XO was smooth and easy to apply, and dry time was about 3 minutes between coats. Now, I tend to be a bit messy with my application, and follow it with clean-up; as a result, I got flakies and glitter all over my fingers. However, they came off easily when I washed my hands and rubbed them off of my skin. Shown in my pictures are two coats, plus glossy topcoat.

XO is so multidimensional, and I am in love! You can find ILNP at their website, and on multiple social media sites.

Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you next time!
