Manicure Monday! featuring Ever After Polish and UR Beautiful

Happy Manicure Monday! Today, I'm sharing some stamping with you! 

To begin with this manicure, I applied three thin coats of Ever After Polish Something Blue. Something Blue is a gorgeous blue-toned teal packed with multi-chrome flakies and scattered holo. It was part of a duo that Rachel had created for her wedding, the other half of which was a light pink holo with larger holo glitters, named I Do. Something Blue is opaque in three thin coats, and it dries quickly and glossy. Shown is with one layer of glossy top coat! 

Something Blue is one of my favorite Ever Afters! Unfortunately, it is no longer currently available in the shop. 

After my polish and top coat dried, I selected a stamping image. This image was from UR Beauiful-04, a plate that I picked up from an online shop (I'm sorry, I can no longer find the plate in the shop to link for you!). To stamp this image, I used Sally Hansen's Silver Sweep, my go-to silver for stamping (which is also discontinued...SO SAD!!). I sealed everything in with another layer of top coat; here is the final result! 

I'm loving how these turned out!

Manicure Monday with Cupcake Polish and Water Decals

Welcome back to Monday! I have an ACTUAL Mani Monday post for you today! For these, I started out with Cupcake Polish Little Butterfly, then chose some coordinating water decals. 

Collection: Spring 2016 Butterfly Collection

Color/Finish: Medium, vibrant green with an intense linear holo.

Formula/Application: Little Butterfly applied so, so smoothly and evenly! Dry time was quick, about 2 minutes between coats. It dried down semi-glossy; shown in my pictures are two coats plus top coat, under a daylight bulb.

Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 hearts! This is one of my new favorite greens; the shade and the intense holo are absolutely divine!

I applied Little Butterfly to my pinky and ring fingers, as well as my thumbs. For my middle and index fingers, I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Tag, Ur It!, then applied the water decals that I chose. Here are the decals: 

And my final mani! Everything is sealed in with glossy top coat. 

 

This combo feels so bright and happy!

Manicure Monday featuring: Ever After Polish and KBShimmer

Happy Manicure Monday! If you are a mother to any type of being, I hope that you had an amazing day yesterday! 

Today, I am sharing another water decal mani with you! I had placed a small order with KBShimmer a couple of weeks ago, and decided to pick up one of the designs of water decals that are available in the shop. The image that I chose was a neon gradient snake skin print!

There were so many options to choose from, when it came to colors to pair these with! I opted for a pink holo from Ever After, named Tutti Frutti. Tutti Frutti was one of my first Ever After colors, and it was one of the colors offered by Hella Holo Customs in August of 2015. 

For my mani, I used Tutti Frutti on my thumb and pinky and index fingers, and applied the KBShimmer decals over one coat of white, on my ring and  middle fingers, and sealed everything in with topcoat. Tutti Frutti has a magnificent formula, and it is opaque in two coats. The decals were easy to use, and they readily separated from the backing after soaking the pieces for about 15 seconds. Don't they look cool?? 

 

 

KBShimmer's decals are available on their site for $2.95 for one sheet. While Tutti Frutti is no longer available from Ever After, there are always many gorgeous colors available in the shop!

Mani Monday: Ever After Polish Atlantis and Water Decals from Born Pretty Store

Happy Mani Monday! Today I want to share with you a mani that I did last night, using a polish from Ever After, and some full-nail water decals from Born Pretty Store. 

To start out with this mani, I painted my pinky, index finger, and thumb with Ever After Atlantis. Atilantis was a part of the Fall 2015 Feminine Chic collection, and it is described as "a scattered holo with gold and violet flakes in a blue base, packed with shimmer." The formula on Atlantis was nice and smooth, and it dried quickly. I used two coats, plus top coat, for my mani. 

 

Next, I painted my ring and middle finger white, using two coats of OPI Alpine Snow. I applied white because the background of the water decals that I selected is clear; therefore, I need a base for the design and colors to stand out! After the two coats of Alpine Snow were dry,  cut and applied my water decals. Here is the final result! 

I am falling more and more in love with water decals! They are a quick and simple way to add some flair to a manicure. If you are interested in picking up this design, you can find them on Born Pretty Store's website right here! 

Ever After Atlantis is no longer available in the shop, but you may be able to find it through blog sales or destashes.

Manicure Monday: Color Club Harp On It and Cici & Sisi Stamping

Happy Manicure Monday!! Today I'm going to show you one of my favorite holos, plus some stamping! I know, I know...I love ALL holos, and it's difficult to choose a favorite, but this baby is near the top of the list! 

Color Club Harp On It is a silver with a strong linear holographic. It is opaque in two coats, and the holographic flame on it is absolutely like no other! It shines with and without topcoat, and is beautiful in indirect light, sunlight, and flash! Here it is under a daylight bulb: 

 

 

 

And here it is with flash! This is not 100% color accurate, but it does show the amazing flame!

I love stamping black on top of Harp On It. For this mani, I chose an image from Cici & Sisi 05, from the white set of plates (available here), using black Konad polish. Everything is sealed in with top coat! Shown is my stampicure under a daylight bulb, and with flash. 

Seriously, though: How amazing is that holo?? I'm smitten!
