DIFFERENT dimension International Space Station: Swatch and Review

DIFFERENT dimension International Space Station: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by Me*

Happy Saturday!! I have lots of swatches on my computer to share with you, so I hope that I will be able to write them up in a good amount of time and have them posted! Tonight, I am sharing a polish from DIFFERENT dimension with you, named International Space Station (ISS, for short).

ISS was a part of Missi's Cosmologically Speaking Part 3 collection. It is described on the website as a medium teal with scattered holographic effect. While this beauty is holographic, it is also chock full of flakies, which adds even more dimension! I was able to get it opaque in three thin coats, and it dried quickly and smoothly; shown is with glossy top coat, under a daylight bulb. This was a tiny bit difficult to remove, because of the flakes, but a bit of rubbing with an acetone-soaked piece of craft felt makes it easier!

DIFFERENT dimension's International Space Station (ISS) is still currently available, and it costs $10.00 for a full-sized, 15 mL bottle; you can find the listing for it right here!

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Ski Lodge: Swatch and Review

I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) Ski Lodge: Swatch and Review

*Purchased by me*

Today, I'm excited to share another color from I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) with you; it is named Ski Lodge! I picked up Ski Lodge in the same haul as the other ILNPs that I have been showing you lately. Ready??

Collection: Winter 2015
Color/Finish: Mossy green linear holo with gold micro flakes
Formula/Application: On par with every ILNP that I have tried, Ski Lodge applied smoothly and evenly! The first coat was a tad thin, but I got it fully opaque in three thin coats. It dried glossy, but my swatches are shown with one layer of glossy top coat, under a daylight bulb.
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 stars! This shade of green is super unique to my collection, and the gold micro flakes combined with the linear holo really add that special flair.
Availability: Ski Lodge is currently available on ILNP's website; it costs $10.00 for a 12 mL bottle; you can find the listing for it right here!

Please be sure to check out ILNP on social media!

Friday Nail Art! Featuring Ever After Polish and Water Decals

*Sent for Review*
*Purchased by Me*

Happy Friday! I hope that you had an amazing week! I can't believe that it's going to be May in two days...time flies by wayyyy to quickly for me sometimes! Although, it is that time of the year; the time where I can pull out one of my favorite memes!

Hey there, Justin! How's it going?

Anywhoooo, let's get to some polish!

A couple of weeks ago, I had ordered a couple of packs of full-nail water decals from ebay. I have recently fallen in love with water decals, and wanted to buy some in bulk! Well, I received one of the orders yesterday, and I just had to play with them!

To start out with today's look, I chose one of the designs to use. I opted for a pretty pink cherry blossom design.

After deciding on a design, it was time to choose a polish! I picked up Ever After Polish's Princess Christmas Cake. I had received Princess Christmas Cake to swatch and review back in the winter time, and fell in love with it then.

Ever After Princess Christmas Cake is a light, baby pink, packed with silver flakies and linear holo. It was a part of the 'Tis the Season to Sparkle collection that was released this past winter; unfortunately, it is no longer available in Ever After's shop.

The formula on Princess Christmas Cake is smooth and easy to control. I like to apply a thin first coat, and then build up to opacity in three layers. Dry time is wonderful, and it dries nice and smooth! Shown in my pictures are three coats, plus glossy top coat.

When I went to apply the water decals, I thought that they looked opaque and that I would be able to layer them over Princess Christmas Cake. Alas, they were more sheer than I had expected. So instead, I chose to paint my ring and middle finger with a white base, using one coat of Sally Hansen Tag, Ur It! I then cut the decals to fit my nails and applied them, then sealed everything in again with top coat. Here is the final result!

This look came out super feminine and delicate, and I really like it! I can't wait to play with some more of my decals!

If you are interested in water decals, I suggest that you search on ebay; they are super inexpensive, and I didn't have to wait too long for the shipping from China. To see one of the listings that I purchased, you can click right here!

Ever After Polish Golden Afternoon Collection: Swatches and Review

*Purchased by Me*
**Picture Heavy!!**

Happy humpday! I have an entire collection review to share with you today! This is Ever After's Spring 2016 collection, called The Golden Afternoon. The polishes are based off of the Golden Afternoon song from Alice in Wonderland, as well as this painting:

The Golden Afternoon collection is made up of four polishes. Let's get started, shall we?

Ever After Bread & Butterflies

Bread and Butterflies is described on the Ever After site as a "peachy crelly base with ultra chrome flakes, scattered holo and gold shimmer."

The formula on Bread & Butterflies was smooth and controllable. It was a bit thin on the first coat, which is the norm for crellies; it was opaque for me in three coats. The thin, buildable layers allow the gorgeous flakies to shine through! Shown in my swatch are three thin coats, plus glossy top coat.

And here's what it looks like with matte top coat! My matte topcoat of choice is Essie's Matte About You.

Ever After Lazy Dazies

The second polish, Lazy Dazies, is described as a "creamy white base with scattered holo shimmer and gold and platinum silver flakes."

Lazy Dazies was also sheer on the first coat, but buildable; I reached full opacity in three coats. Dry time was great, as thin coats tend to dry faster. Shown are three layers, plus glossy top coat!

 With matte topcoat!

 Ever After Month of June

Month of June is a polish described as a "sea foam teal crelly with Ultra Chrome multi color flakes, glitter and blue to green shifting shimmer."

I almost got away with using two coats of Month of June for opacity, but I opted for three, to remain consistent with the others in the collection. Dry time was wonderful, and the polish dried smooth. Shown are three coats plus glossy topcoat.

With matte topcoat!

Ever After Don't Wake Me In the Morning Glory

Last but not least is Don't Wake Me In the Morning Glory, a "deep periwinkle/lavender crelly leaning jelly packed with blue micro flakes and a mix of opal and iridescent glitters."

I was pleasantly surprised with this one! I expected the formula to be streaky, but it was nice and even. While it was thin, it was easily buildable, and I did not need to manipulate the glitter at all! When applied with top coat, this polish looks super squishy! Shown are three thin coats, plus glossy top coat.

And with matte topcoat!

So there you have it: The Golden Afternoon Collection from Ever After Polish! These polishes are available in full size individual bottles ($9.50-$10.50), or in a full size collection ($36.00) or a mini collection ($26.00). There are also now floral water decals and earrings available in the shop, and they are priced at $4.00-$5.00 each.

I love all of these, but I think that my two favorites are Bread & Butterflies and Month of June! How about you? Are you planning to pick up any of these beauties?

le Polish Love Your Mother (Earth): Partial Collection Swatches and Review

*Sent by maker for swatch, photography, and review*

Hey there! I have something exciting to share with you today! Allison of the brand le Polish is releasing a new quad of polish for the spring, and it is named the Love Your Mother (Earth) Collection. Each polish in this collection is named after the lovely Greek Goddesses of earth, and they are based off of this gorgeous photograph!

The first polish that I have to show you is named Gaia. Gaia is named after the primary mother goddess, the giver of life to Earth, and the mother to Rhea (coming up next!). Gaia is described as a "deep teal full of green holo glitter and navy and gold flakes representing the colors of Earth from the view at Mount Olympus."

The formula on Gaia was nice and smooth, and the glitter and flakes required minimal manipulation to be placed where I wanted them. The formula is jelly-like, so I used three coats for full opacity; dry time was average. Shown are three coats plus glossy top coat, under a daylight bulb.

The next polish in the collection is named Rhea. Rhea is the Titaness Mother of Gods, and the mother to Demeter. It is described as a "dusty purple jam-packed with pink, lavender, and orange glitters and green micro-flakes. She may not be a goddess herself, but she birthed them and is every bit as beautiful!"

The formula on Rhea was smooth as well, and I did not need to manipulate the glitter at all! The base is also jelly-like, and it a light lavender; therefore, I used three thin coats for full opacity; dry time was average for this beauty as well. You could also probably layer it over a light lavender creme, if you wanted to intensify the color! I am a purple polish lover at heart, so I definitely gravitated towards Rhea. Shown in my swatches are three coats plus glossy top coat, under a daylight bulb.

This collection also contains two other polishes: A spring green, full of pink and gold, with pink micro-flakes (named after Demeter) and a fiery orange with teal glitters, gold flakes, and purple micro-flakes (named after Persephone).

The Love Your Mother (Earth) collection will be releasing on Friday, April 22nd, at noon Eastern Time at www.lepolish.bigcartel.com . The polishes will be available in full size (15 mL) and mini (7.5 mL). Individual full-size polishes will be $10 each, or you can pick up the full-sized quad for $38.50. Individual minis will cost $6.00 each, or $23.25 for the entire mini quad.
